Effective date: September 28, 2026
Last updated: September 28, 2026
Gundog Nation (“Gundog Nation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect information when you visit:
- GundogNation.com;
- the BG Gundog USA landing page at GundogNation.com/upland-dog-training/;
- other webpages operated by Gundog Nation that link to this policy; and
- forms, email subscriptions and advertising campaigns connected to these webpages.
This policy covers the Gundog Nation website and BG Gundog USA marketing landing page. The Gundog USA mobile application is operated separately by Beggarbush Media and is governed by the privacy policy and terms linked from the application and its app-store listing.
By using our website, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect depends on how you interact with the website.
Information you provide
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Your name;
- Your email address;
- Information included in an inquiry or message;
- Newsletter and community subscription preferences;
- Information you provide when contacting Ken Witt or Gundog Nation;
- Survey, promotion or event responses; and
- Other information you choose to send to us.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through website forms or ordinary email.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:
- Internet Protocol address;
- Browser and device type;
- Operating system;
- Approximate location derived from an IP address;
- Referring website or advertisement;
- Pages viewed;
- Links and buttons clicked;
- Date and time of visits;
- Time spent on a page;
- App Store or Google Play outbound clicks;
- Advertising campaign and UTM information;
- Cookie identifiers; and
- Information about how the website performs on your device.
We use this information to operate the website, understand how visitors use it, measure advertising and improve the visitor experience.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use collected information to:
- Operate, maintain and secure the website;
- Respond to questions and support requests;
- Send newsletters or community updates when requested;
- Provide information about Gundog Nation, BG Gundog USA and related training services;
- Understand which content and advertisements are useful;
- Measure visits and outbound app-store clicks;
- Create website visitor audiences for advertising where permitted;
- Retarget advertising to people who previously visited the website where permitted;
- Prevent fraud, abuse and technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Enforce our terms and protect our legal rights; and
- Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected.
We do not treat an outbound click to an app store as proof that a purchase occurred.
3. EMAIL AND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
If you subscribe to Gundog Nation updates, we may use your name and email address to send requested newsletters, podcast information, community news, training information and related announcements.
You may unsubscribe using the link included in a marketing email or by contacting us at gundognation@gmail.com.
We may still send non-promotional communications when necessary to respond to a request, provide requested support or address an existing relationship.
4. META PIXEL AND ADVERTISING
We may use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure advertising, understand visits and create advertising audiences.
Depending on your consent choices and location, the Meta Pixel may collect or receive information such as:
- The webpage visited;
- The referring advertisement;
- Browser and device information;
- IP address;
- Cookie identifiers;
- Landing-page visits;
- App Store or Google Play button clicks; and
- Other website interactions configured as advertising events.
We may use this information to:
- Measure whether an advertisement resulted in a landing-page visit;
- Measure outbound app-store interest;
- Show advertisements to previous website visitors;
- Exclude recent visitors or app-store clickers from certain campaigns;
- Understand campaign performance; and
- Improve advertising relevance.
Meta processes information according to its own terms and privacy policies. Meta may associate website activity with a Facebook or Instagram account when permitted by its systems and the visitor’s settings.
We do not send a Meta Purchase event merely because someone clicks an app-store link. A website app-store click does not confirm that a purchase occurred.
Our use of advertising technology may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws, even though we do not sell personal information for money. Where required, you may opt out through our cookie settings or another privacy-choice link provided on the website.
For more information about Meta’s practices and privacy controls, visit the Meta Privacy Center.
5. ANALYTICS
We may use website analytics services to understand:
- How many people visit the website;
- Which pages they visit;
- How they reached the website;
- Which device or browser types they use;
- General geographic areas;
- Whether pages function correctly; and
- Whether visitors click outbound links.
Analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies. Nonessential analytics will be controlled through the website’s cookie-consent system where required.
If Google Analytics or another analytics service is activated, that provider may process information under its own privacy terms. The cookie settings panel should identify the analytics providers currently enabled on the website.
6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small files placed on a browser or device. We may also use pixels, local storage, tags and similar technologies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies support essential website functions, security, network management, form processing and privacy preferences. The website may not function properly without them.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent where applicable law permits them to be used without consent.
Preference cookies
These cookies remember choices such as cookie preferences, display settings or other website options.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand website traffic and how visitors interact with pages. They may measure page views, visit duration, referral sources and website performance.
Advertising cookies and pixels
These technologies help measure advertisements, build website visitor audiences, limit repetitive advertising and display advertising that may be more relevant to previous visitors.
Meta Pixel cookies may include identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc. Their availability and duration depend on Meta’s technology, browser settings and applicable consent requirements. Meta commonly describes these identifiers as lasting for up to approximately 90 days, although Meta may change its technology and retention practices.
Embedded and third-party content
Pages may link to or display third-party content involving podcast platforms, social media, app stores, videos, sponsors or retail services. Those providers may use their own cookies or tracking technologies when you interact with them.
Managing cookies
When the website displays a cookie banner, you can:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject nonessential cookies;
- Select cookie categories; or
- Revisit your choices through the Cookie Settings link.
Rejecting nonessential cookies should be as easy as accepting them.
You may also control cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect certain website functions.
Where technically supported and legally required, we will endeavor to recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
7. COOKIE CATEGORIES
The exact cookies may change when website services are added, removed or updated. The website’s cookie settings panel should provide the most current list.

11. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to:
- Respond to an inquiry;
- Maintain an active email subscription;
- Measure advertising within the configured reporting period;
- Protect the website;
- Resolve disputes;
